We founded BreachBits in 2018 as two Naval officers working within U.S. military cyber forces. The company started in a garage in suburban Maryland — built between shifts at Fort Meade and the Pentagon.

Our insight was simple: by using AI to simulate attacker behavior and translating what it found into the language of risk, defenders could finally see their systems through a hacker's eyes — and outpace threats globally and continuously. That idea became the BreachRisk Platform: an always-on engine that emulates real attackers, proves what's exploitable, and turns it into a single BreachRisk Score.

The mission has always been the same: to turn the tide of the cyber war in favor of defenders. At Lloyd's Lab (Cohort 13), we worked with leading brokers and carriers to scale that approach — turning it into an insurance capability that underwriters and risk managers can use.

We started BreachBits to democratize it: to make attacker-grade testing continuous, automated, and affordable enough that every organization can defend itself — not just the Fortune 500.
